About Our Founder

Ginny Myrick

MPG founder and president Ginny Myrick has more than two decades of proven success in government relations at the federal, state and local levels. Noted for her insight, tenacity and effectiveness, Ms. Myrick’s specialties include development, land use and zoning, procurement and government incentives. She has been instrumental in securing millions of dollars in economic development incentives for companies relocating or expanding in the Sunshine State.

    Most recently a Senior Policy Advisor in the Government & Public Policy group of international business law firm Holland & Knight, LLP, Ms. Myrick is a former State Director of Legislation for the City of Jacksonville and V.P. of Government Relations for the Jacksonville Port Authority.  She was elected to two terms as a City Council Member for the Consolidated City of Jacksonville, which comprises all of Duval County, and has owned and managed several profitable private companies.

    An ardent nonprofit advocate, Ms. Myrick served eight years as Vice Chair of the Florida Community Trust as an appointee of Gov. Jeb Bush. She currently serves on the management committee of the Urban Land Institute Northeast Florida (ULI) and is a former chair of the Trust for Public Land Northeast Florida Advisory Board. She was a member of Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown’s Transition Team for Economic Development and is a frequent media source, speaker and debate moderator on Florida government issues.
